Happy Monday,
Grades are updated in Powerschool regularly. Unfortunately, I am noticing an increasing number of 0s in the grade book. Parents, please check Powerschool once a week, so you can keep track of your child’s progress. Additionally, it is extremely important that your child is doing his/her nightly homework.
Spring band concert on Wednesday, 4/4 from 7-9 pm. Bake sale, Kona Ice, and hot dogs from 6:30 pm.

A message from our librarian, Mrs. Panus:
We will be having our Scholastic Spring Book Fair April 16-April 20, 2018.
I am looking for volunteers for the following times:
Monday – Set up Book Fair – no help needed
We will open to the students:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
1st Lunch – 11:40 – 12:20
2nd Lunch – 12:35 – 1:15
Wednesday – 11:50 – 12:35

Language Arts (Perris only):
*Re-read highlighted portions of both articles.
*What is your claim? Students should be required to wear school uniforms, or students should not be required to wear school uniforms? REMEMBER: Which side do you think has the BEST evidence?
*What are your two reasons? These will become your body paragraphs.
*Claim + reasons = Thesis statement (You will be writing your thesis statement tomorrow in class.)
Language Arts (Chen only): Complete the reading log
Social Studies (Perris only): No homework

Science (All):
*Complete animal/plant cell worksheet (on Google classroom)
*Animal/plant cell quiz on Friday.
Reading/Literature (Perris only): Please read 30 MINUTES every day at home.
