Miss Perris' 6th Grade ELA, Reading, and Social Studies

6/5/19

Happy Wednesday,

RHMS ANNUAL NOTES & FLOATS is TOMORROW in the quad.  We hope to see a lot of families there!  :)  Students from both band and choir will be performing for us.

We’ve decided to have our combined classroom party on Tuesday, June 11.  Set up will be during 4th period.  The majority of students liked the idea of having another pizza party.  We will have the party from 11:53 am - 12:31 pm (minimum day schedule).  In the afternoon, we will be showing movies in both classrooms. It would be wonderful if we had a few parent volunteers who could bring:

*Plates
*Napkins
*Drinks (water and/or juice)
*Popsicles (enough for 60 kids)
*Any dessert items

Please email me if you are able to bring something in for the party!
Tuesday morning we will be opening our time capsules, reflecting on the school year, and celebrating summer birthdays.
ALL student work for ELA and social studies is due NOW, with the exception of the Rome packet!  We will be working on the Rome packet during the next 2 days.

It looks like we are missing a couple of social studies textbooks (purple cover).  Can you please ask your child to check at home.
Just a reminder about Spirit Week:  Tomorrow is Disney Day!
