Hello New and Returning RHMS Families!
Welcome to the new school year! The PTA has several exciting events planned for each trimester. Please read on to learn more.
This year the RHMS PTA going to be doing the majority of its communication through Google Groups. RHMS PTA Announce and RHMS PTA Community. The PTA will be using RHMS PTA Announce for announcing PTA hosted and PTA Grant Supported Activities which are for the entire student body, not just PTA members. RHMS PTA Community will be a group for all RHMS families past and present to share ideas and information, post about help needed, garage sales, ISO etc. Neither group is a place to discuss school or district policies. RHMS PTA uses Google for Education. Please go to Google Groups and search for this group and request to join. (If you cannot find it, give us a few days and try again, we are still learning this system :-). If there is a Google expert out there, please text me at robyn4jewelry [at] gmail.com (). I need help making the group PUBLIC and not only a part of our Google for Education Private domain.)

Volunteers Needed:
Monday August 7, 9am to 12noon (approx.) we are in need of volunteers to help stuff the green registration packet envelopes which are to be mailed that day.
Monday August 21, 10:30am to 3:30pm, we are in need of volunteers to collect papers, hand out schedules and PE uniforms, as well as other jobs at the registration day. If you can come early set-up or stay late to clean-up that would be helpful.

New this year, the PTA is going to publish on our website a listing of all PTA MEMBERS who wish to advertise their business to other RHMS families. This list is available to all families but you must be a PTA member to list your business. Turn in forms & get schedules. Drop by any time during your assigned time period to drop off forms & pick up your schedule. If you're unable to attend on Aug 21, the alternate date is Aug 23, 7:45-8:30am, in the RHMS cafeteria. Schedules will not be available on any other dates.

With 8th grade promotion being at 9am on the last day of school, our streets and parking areas will be extremely congested. Please have students walk/bike to school if possible.
Promotion Ceremony Attendees:
Our overflow parking area will be open, with plenty of Handicap parking spaces. Please drive down More Avenue and follow the dirt driveway past the gym -- look for parking attendants in our bright yellow vests.
Immediately following the presentation of diplomas, please go to the cafeteria or to the parking area. Our 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students will be released at this time to go on break.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!
With the end of school almost here, we're donating our Lost & Found items to a local shelter. This week is the last chance to come claim any jackets, shirts, sheos, lunchboxes, etc., that your student may have left at school. Please stop by the big red bin outside the office. More valuable items, such as eyeglasses, phones, & jewelry are kept in the office.
RHMS Band presents Notes & Floats! Wednesday 7th JUNE. Join us for the our annual music festival and family picnic. Help us make the event a great success by donating and/or signing up for a shift at the bake sale and root beer float tables.
