School News
With the beautiful weather finally here, students have been arriving at school early. Many have asked the office for a pass to walk across the street to get breakfast or snacks at the grocery store or donut shop.
Once on campus, they may not leave without a parent signing them out -- even before school starts. Please remind students to eat breakfast and pack a snack before leaving home.

All District families are invited to a FREE family STEAM event on Wednesday May 31, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at Campbell Middle School, 295 Cherry Lane, Campbell.

Parents have the opportunity review and discuss our school's 7th grade health curriculum.
Campbell Union School District uses Health Connected’s Teen Talk Middle School course for 7th grade health. It is one unit in the overall health education for 7th grade, and it is taught by a trained Physical Education or Science teacher.
The curriculum complies with California Education laws and Health Education Standards under “Growth, Development and Sexual Health.” We notify parents of 7th graders before teaching the unit by sending them a letter with more information about the lessons.

It is that time of year when we are looking for community volunteers who are willing to help us with 8th grade Exhibition. During the school year, students are asked to research a problem that affects individuals, the community, or society. After completing the research, students propose a solution and create a final project. By the end of the school year, they will be ready to give their oral presentation. At that point, students need an audience to whom they can showcase what they have accomplished. That’s where you come in! After students complete their oral presentation, volunteers will be asked to give constructive feedback.
No previous experience necessary. Everything will be provided to you, including lunch. This year, Exhibition takes place on Thursday, May 25. We are really in need of people who can volunteer from 8:00 am - 2:10 pm. If you would like to be involved as a panelist, please contact us by Friday, May 12. Return the form below to the office or email the specified information to Ellen Perris — eperris [at] campbellusd.org ().
Thank you for your support!
