Despite signs and requests, we are growing concerned with vehicle and bike and pedestrian safety and need your help.
The appropriate drop off point is in front, off Pollard, or at the end of Moore Avenue by the gymnasium and catwalk.
The parking lot closest to the front office is only for staff to park. And when staff can’t park due to dodging the opening and closing doors and students exiting cars, it makes us nervous and sometimes late.
Please drop off and pick up at the two locations… the Pollard loop or the loop down by the gymnasium.
Thanks for helping ensure student and staff safety.
Conference Week is Monday, October 6 through Friday October 10. Like all CUSD schools, days are shortened by approximately two hours to facilitate the conferences. Our bell schedule is the second page here.
Sixth grade teachers are in the process of contacting families, while 7th and 8th grade families are alphabetically invited to our Gym during the week. Please see the link here to determine the time we have slotted for you.
The coordination of nearly 800 conferences is no simple task, and we believe this style of conference for our upper grades students affords families the opportunities to meet with 5 and in some cases all 6 teachers.

The Rolling Hills Library is looking for volunteers for our Fall Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair runs October 6 through 10, 2025. This is the same week as our Parent/Teacher conferences. I am looking for lunchtime coverage Monday through Friday from 10:45 - 11:45. Three to five volunteers daily would be optimal.
I would like to stay open after school from 1:00-2:00 Monday through Thursday, but that is only possible if I can get at least 1 after school volunteer per day.
The volunteer packet does not need to be completed. You will simply sign in at the office upon arrival.

Papel Picado, meaning “perforated paper,” is a traditional Mexican folk art that involves cutting intricate designs into colorful tissue paper. Historically used to decorate celebrations such as Día de los Muertos, weddings, and fiestas, it symbolizes the blending of indigenous and Spanish cultural traditions.
