Rolling Hills Middle School

School News

Updated Mon, Aug 19th

Good morning.

While we prepare to welcome your children to RHMS, we have an important cell phone update to share and videos to view at the end of this message.

As a reminder, all CUSD students in grades 6-8 will be assigned a Yondr pouch, into which a cell phone, a smart watch, and airpods fit.  They are to be closed/locked at the start of our school day and unlocked at the conclusion.  There will be an array of stations in our quad.

For those students who leave during the day, the office will have its own station.

Cell phones, smart watches, and airpods that are out will be stored in the office for parent pickup.

Please take a moment to see the simplicity of using a cell phone pouch in CUSD middle schools.

Up close.
From a distance.

Contributions to the RHMS PTA support our 800 students and our greater community.  We are very thankful for the noted increase in donations of money and time.

Please take a moment to read the attached Annual Giving Report so that you may have a clearer picture of all that our RHMS PTA supported last year!  Beyond just finances, PTA lent hands at our Sport-A-Thon, Career Day, and schoolwide BBQs.

We are eager to foster a greater sense of community, and we encourage you to take a look at the attached flyer with a simple QR code.

We are excited to welcome your child to a new school year on August 21st!

Schedules will be sent via Parent Square on Monday, August 19th in the late morning.  PowerSchool will also open that day for students to check their schedules.  Unless there is an actual error in a schedule, we will hold off on considering any schedule change requests until after the first week of school.

NOTE: Be sure to use the same email address that is on file with the school your child attends.
