Miss Perris' 6th Grade ELA, Reading, and Social Studies

4/3/19

Happy Wednesday,

Some reminders that tonight is the Spring Band Concert and next week is Spring Break!
For all the latest Rolling Hills news, you can go to https://rollinghills.campbellusd.org.
TOMORROW is the last day of the Book Fair!  Please see below about the Online Book Fair.  :)

We were able to extend our Online Book Fair until April 12, 2018.
The Online Fair has a larger selection of items.  They are conveniently broken down by grade level and age group.
Aside from elementary level through middle school books, there is the availability of high school level and adult best sellers. Please check it out.
Any purchases will be sent directly to the school after Spring Break.

Pennies for Patients Fundraiser will end on Friday, 4/5.
Homework for 4/3/19:

Reading/Literature:  READ 30 minutes every night including weekends!
Language Arts:  The informational essay (5 paragraphs) should be complete at this point.  Students should continue to revise and edit the essay this evening.  I have been putting essays under the document camera and dissecting them in front of the class.  Students have been very supportive of each other’s writing and are learning a lot from this process.  Although individual writing can differ greatly, the framework of the informational essay is the same, and it’s quite formulaic.  I think students are beginning to understand this concept.

Math:   Bring lessons 16.3, 16.4, and 16.5 to class tomorrow.

Science:  No homework

Social Studies:  No homework
Have a great night.

Ms. Perris/Ms. Harrington
