Homework for 4/1/19:
 
Reading/Literature:  READ 30 minutes every night including weekends!  Jaguar composition books due TOMORROW - GREEN GROUP ONLY  
Language Arts:  Complete the informational essay tonight at home.  BRING A PAPER COPY TO CLASS TOMORROW.
 
Math:   Please review the introduction to statistics worksheet with your student.  What are statistical questions?  Mean, mode, median as central tendencies that help us when we collect, present, analyze, and make decisions using statistics.  The backside is homework.  Bringing Module 16 is homework, as well.
 
Science:  Quiz on section 1 for atmosphere on Wednesday, 4/3/19 (NOTE DATE CHANGE):  definition of atmosphere, gasses in the atmosphere (78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 1% other gases such as argon, carbon dioxide, and water vapor, which is an invisible gas that forms when water reaches a certain temperature), small particles that are in the atmosphere ( dust, volcanic ash, sea salt, dirt, smoke), how gravity works to form air pressure, why air pressure is highest near Earth’s surface, air pressure changing as altitude increases, layers of the atmosphere: troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere (defined by changes in temperature).
 
Social Studies:  No homework.  Students will present their Greek city-state flags in class tomorrow.
