Happy Friday,
iReady testing is complete for most students, and we will go back to our regular schedule next week.
Winter break is the week of 2/18/19.
End of trimester 2 is 3/8/19.
Please have your child do their daily reading and have them study for the India test on Tuesday. There will be a review for the test on Monday.
Homework for 2/1/19:
Reading/Literature: READ 30 minutes every night including weekends!
***I have explained to students that the Jaguar composition books will be given an assessment grade (in the 80% category). If I cannot read the writing in the book, I will give the book back to the student and they will have to rewrite their responses. If they choose not to rewrite the responses, they will receive a 0 as a final grade. No exceptions. I want students to know this NOW, so it does not come as a surprise to them later on.
Language Arts: No homework
Math: No homework
Science: Finish reproduction posters (only if Ms. Harrington allowed you to take the poster home)
Social Studies: Review the pink packet in preparation for the test on India. India test will be on Tuesday, 2/5 (30 questions with a word back provided)
