Miss Perris' 6th Grade ELA, Reading, and Social Studies

12/13/18

Happy Baskin-Robbins Thursday,

There will be NO Homework Center TODAY.

The band concert was wonderful!!  The beginning band did not sound like a beginning band!!  They were amazing.  :)

I sent home science camp statements to the gold group (except for those students who have either a) paid in full or b) are selling chocolate bars).  Please make checks payable to RHMS and make sure to include your child’s name in the memo portion of the check.  IF your child has not done any fundraising (either the gold or green group), you can submit your payment at any time.  The amount is $320.00.

Heart & Sole is Girls on the Run’s after-school program that gives 6-8th grade girls the tools to
be healthy, happy, and confident. Heart & Sole is more than just a running program! The 10-
week curriculum focuses on the whole girl - body, brain, heart, social, spirit - using fun games
and activities to teach her how to set goals and boundaries, ask for and receive help, set up a
support system, and more! Physical activity is woven into the program, helping the girls increase
their strength and endurance for the Girls on the Run 5K on May 18. Registration is open! Go
to www.gotrsv.org for more information and to sign up!
The candy fundraiser will be ending TOMORROW.  A reminder to return money and any unsold candy bars to your child’s core teacher.

Please remember the RHMS Toy Drive!  We are asking for new toys appropriate for middle school aged children (no video games or gift cards, please).  The last day to donate toys will be TOMORROW.  Thanks as always for your support.

Just a reminder that we will be attending science camp from Tuesday, 1/15/19 through Friday, 1/18/19.
