Happy Monday,
SPIRIT WEEK CONTINUES!! A reminder to wear PINK TOMORROW in support of breast cancer awareness.
COLLECTING ALL BOX TOPS!! If you have been collecting BOX TOPS, Please bring then to your 1st period teacher. PLEASE put the BOX TOPS in a baggie and write your child’s name/# of BOX TOPS on the baggie. BOX TOPS are needed ASAP (Sorry for the late notice. They just announced it today!)
A reminder that there will be no Homework Center TOMORROW (it was today instead) or Thursday, 11/1. Homework Center will resume next Tuesday, 11/6.
The end of trimester 1 is Friday, November 16. Your child will be taking a new elective class beginning Monday, 11/26 (unless they are in a year-long class).
Homework for 10/29/18:
Reading/Literature: READ 20 mins. every night including weekends! AR BOOK CHECK TOMORROW - Green group ONLY
Language Arts: All short stories have been graded, and the scores are in PowerSchool.
*Review grammar worksheet (5 mins.)
*Grammar quiz on Friday, 11/2
*Work on vocabulary packet due Friday, 11/2
Math:
*Finish 3 word problems from page 111
*Do side C or D on the worksheet
*Start blank check project
Science: No homework
Social Studies: Review section 1 Cornell notes. Make sure that your summary paragraph is complete.
