Please help us help others....

Candy for Our Troops
Our RHMS Compassion Club is collecting Halloween Candy through Friday, November 4th, to support our military troops through Operation Gratitude.   Send candy to school with your student, or drop it off in the front office.

Water for the World
We are raising money for a water project to build wells and bring clean water to people around the world.  Bring in your empty water bottles and cans  (with the label still on it and NOT crushed).  Students can earn SOAR tickets for every 3 they bring to Ms. Gombis in M5.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

At conferences, you should have received i-Ready test results.  If you did not attend conferences, the teachers will be sending these reports home with your student soon.  This online program teaches and assesses math and reading skills across grade levels.  It is one way teachers can identify specific struggles or strengths as they prepare for classroom instruction.

Personalized online i-Ready lessons are available to your student at home.  If you have questions about these reports, please contact your child’s teacher or our equity coach, Amy Vanderbosch at avanderbosch [at] campbellusd.org or 408-364-4235 ,  x6458.

At the September 20 Strategic Planning Special Session, Governing Board members and 30 participants representing the district’s stakeholders—from students and parents, to employees and community agencies— met to discuss progress and next steps toward achieving the District’s strategic goals.

In one activity, the group identified perceived strengths in the district since the last Strategic Planning Session. To see the list, click on the e-flyer link on this page. For more about the District's Strategic Plan, go to campbellusd.org/strategicplan.

Yes, it’s coming! Books and Brats, our RHMS version of Oktoberfest has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th. We realize it’s the World Series that night, so rest assured we’re working on a plan- more about that later…

For those of you new to our school, this evening includes our Scholastic Book Faire, bratwurst, hot dogs, giant soft pretzels and root beer floats. It’s a wonderful family evening, and a great fundraiser for our library. More information will be coming home, so mark your calendars and look for a flyer coming to you soon!

Safeway and the surrounding businesses in our neighborhood shopping center have become more concerned with the number of students “hanging out” in front of their stores, both before and after school. This is just a reminder to encourage your child to be a good neighbor and follow the behavior guidelines of our local businesses. Expected behavior would include walking in the aisles, paying for items you take, and refraining from comments directed to adults entering businesses.

And a big THANK YOU to our Campbell Police Department, which has been out in force, supporting the safety of our children on our streets, in our crosswalks, and in our parking lots.
