Yes, it’s coming! Books and Brats, our RHMS version of Oktoberfest has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th. We realize it’s the World Series that night, so rest assured we’re working on a plan- more about that later…

For those of you new to our school, this evening includes our Scholastic Book Faire, bratwurst, hot dogs, giant soft pretzels and root beer floats. It’s a wonderful family evening, and a great fundraiser for our library. More information will be coming home, so mark your calendars and look for a flyer coming to you soon!

Safeway and the surrounding businesses in our neighborhood shopping center have become more concerned with the number of students “hanging out” in front of their stores, both before and after school. This is just a reminder to encourage your child to be a good neighbor and follow the behavior guidelines of our local businesses. Expected behavior would include walking in the aisles, paying for items you take, and refraining from comments directed to adults entering businesses.

And a big THANK YOU to our Campbell Police Department, which has been out in force, supporting the safety of our children on our streets, in our crosswalks, and in our parking lots.
