On behalf of your RHMS PTA Board, thank you everyone who has donated to the Annual Funding.  Attached is a flyer showing our current funding status and what your funds can potentially support at RHMS.  Currently, we are still far from our goal.  We need your help if you have not donated yet!

Also, in November and December, some companies give 2X or 3X corporate matching.  We kindly ask that you inquire with your company about corporate matching to further your donation!  Many thanks!

Sincerely,
Your RHMS PTA Board

Thanks to the nearly 50 parent volunteers, RHMS featured its annual Sport-a-Thon last week.  While students had the opportunity to play an array of organized sports for two periods, RHMS also fundraised approximately $10,000 for its after school sports program.

RHMS is proud of our after school Athletic Program and our Club offerings, coming from two different funding sources.  Donations to both help sustain what continues to rank highly as we ask for input from students and families about what makes RHMS a great place.

You might have seen the article that came out today on the District News & Events email sharing CUSD's Promoting Inclusion and Equity Through School Libraries.

CUSD is looking forward to increasing its holiday diversity book collection.  If any parent or guardian or someone from our community would like to suggest a holiday book that celebrates their culture and values, please use the attached form to complete.

Once the form is completed, please return it to our Community Liaison, Ms. Adriana Paz, at apaz [at] campbellusd.org.   All completed forms will be sent to CUSD by the February break of the current year and will be reviewed and considered for the following year.  Should the suggested title be approved, it will be purchased and placed in a school library.

Please know that if contact information is on the form, you will receive an acknowledgement and an "approved"/"not approved" response from Ms. Dana Sifuentez.

Rolling Hills

Updated Wed, Oct 30th

In preparation for Halloween on a school day, we wanted to clarify with families, just as we've done with our students via video announcements.

We expect learning to occur and behavior to resemble what is does on any other day here at Rolling HIlls on October 31st.  Costumes will need to fall in line with expectations... and we encourage modest dress.

  • We are to see student faces, without masks covering them.
  • Excessive blood and gore may be donned after school hours or at home.
  • References to profanity, drugs and alcohol, those that harass race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and sexual innuendos will not be here at RHMS.
  • Weapons, real and imitation, are to remain at home.

With that, we will have a Halloween costume contest and "teams" will earn points for participation rates.

Please remember that school will not be in session on Friday, November 1st.  Teachers in CUSD have a professional development day.
