With the holidays upon us, Sports Basement is giving you up to 20% off at your local store from December 5 until December 15. Just show this email at the register for your exclusive discount, and remember that provided RHMS is your official beneficiary at Sports Basement, 10% of the profits made from Sports Basement Basementeer supporters will go back to Rolling Hills Middle School!   If you would like to update your chosen beneficiary to be RHMS, please fill this out.

When: Tuesday, December 10th from 2pm to 9pm
Where: 1875 Bascom Ave, Suite 440, Campbell, CA 95008 (the Pruneyard)

RHMS Families,

The next ELAC Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 10th at 8:30 AM at Rolling Hills Middle School in the conference room. Join us as your are dropping off your child!

All RHMS families are welcome to attend an ELAC meeting. We highly encourage parents who have English learning children, in particular, to attend ELAC meetings.

On the agenda for next Tuesday, we will be discussing the Toy Drive, Fresno State classes for parents, and our school counselors will be joining us to present on ways to support your child emotionally at home.

We hope to see you next week!

The PTA needs you this Holiday season!  Attached is a flyer showing our current Annual Giving funding status and what your funds can potentially support at RHMS.  Currently, we are still far from our goal.

Thank you very much if you have already donated!  If you have not, please consider donating (https://www.ptarhms.org/) to support our children's experiences at RHMS.  Also, in November and December, some companies give 2X or 3X corporate matching.  We kindly ask that you inquire with your company about corporate matching to further your donation!

After a few years in hibernation, RHMS is eager to support the City of Campbell Toy Drive again this year.

Attached is a flyer of the month's activities in the City, and at the bottom there is a description of what toys are sought.

RHMS has two bins in our office ready to house unwrapped gifts that are suitable for middle school aged teens.  They might include:

  • Books
  • Sport equipment
  • Board games
  • Art kits
  • Journals
  • Puzzles
  • Calligraphy
  • and whatever else interests your own child!

This is a reminder for the upcoming due date for the 8th grade Baby Picture in the yearbook. 

A flier went home with your student on Wednesday, Nov. 20th with more information. Participation in this section of the yearbook is free and open to any 8th grade student. If interested, please email your student's baby picture to Erika Elvert at eelvert [at] campbellusd.org in a JPEG format with the email titled with your student's first and last name. Pictures should have a clear view of the face."

Pledges, a poster contest, healthy coping skills, and a schoolwide assembly were all part of a concerted effort to share with students the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices and explain dangers of alcohol and vaping.
