This week, we will begin our study of European settlements in the New World (Chapter 2). We will have a test on Chapters 1 and 2 on Friday, September 16th.

Tuesday- Compare/Contrast two Early Indian cultural regions

               - Preview Chapter 2 and read Section 1 (Introduction)

Wednesday- Read Section 2 , complete notes and learn about the Columbian Exchange

Welcome to my classroom! I'm excited about the great year we're going to have and I hope you are, too! 

This week, we'll spend some time getting to know each other, but we will be moving into our study of American history pretty quickly, so be prepared!!! :-)

This week, we'll learn about the Progressive Era. This is the period of time in the late 1800s and early 1900s when big business and the Industrialists were pitted against industrial workers and the "common" men and women of America.
