Sprouting Our School Garden
We are excited to announce that we are ready to begin work on our new RHMS garden, and we are seeking volunteer support, as well as donations of supplies, for getting this project up and running. Our garden site has been graded, and the district has installed half of the raised beds, soil, fencing, and a water source. If you are interested in volunteering or donating materials, we would very much appreciate hearing from you!
While all help is welcome, we do have some specific needs in the near future. If you have expertise, skills, or tools and equipment that would be useful in the following areas, we would be especially happy to hear from you!
- irrigation installation (especially drip irrigation)
- a rain barrel
- strong backs (for moving soil and supplies)
- most obviously, planting and garden experience
