Halloween and November 1st
In preparation for Halloween on a school day, we wanted to clarify with families, just as we've done with our students via video announcements.
We expect learning to occur and behavior to resemble what is does on any other day here at Rolling HIlls on October 31st. Costumes will need to fall in line with expectations... and we encourage modest dress.
- We are to see student faces, without masks covering them.
- Excessive blood and gore may be donned after school hours or at home.
- References to profanity, drugs and alcohol, those that harass race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and sexual innuendos will not be here at RHMS.
- Weapons, real and imitation, are to remain at home.
With that, we will have a Halloween costume contest and "teams" will earn points for participation rates.
Please remember that school will not be in session on Friday, November 1st. Teachers in CUSD have a professional development day.
