Parent Teacher Conference Week Updated

To facilitate the importance and complexity of conferences, all CUSD schools close an hour or so earlier than on a minimum day.  In our case, it will be 12:58.  So that teachers have time to release students and adequately prepare, we will start assigned conferences at 1:30.

Recognizing it has historically been a challenge for parents of seventh and eighth graders to meet with five or six teachers, and as a result of parent feedback over the last several years, Rolling Hills will again host in-person, arena style conferencing in our gym.  Sixth grade teachers will continue to host conferences in their classrooms and will soon reach out to families to set up appointments.

If in the previous two weeks you have already had or in the next four weeks plan to have a meeting to discuss student progress and goals, such as a 504, IEP, or SST, there is no need to attend conferences at this time.

For parents of seventh and eighth graders, please arrive with your child at the Gym on your assigned day.  Barring unforeseen circumstances or planned leave, all  7th and 8th grade teachers will be available anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 on Monday through Thursday, and 1:30 to 3:00 on Friday.

It is important to note that the wait time may be longer as the doors open, so you may wish to stagger your arrival or come towards the middle of your assigned window.
