Rolling Hills Middle School

Week of September 27th Updates

Clubs? Parent-Teacher conferences? COVID testing? Bike safety? We have you covered!

We are proud to soon offer clubs to our students.  This link helps describe what may be offered.  While some clubs will have a minimum numbers of students required, all will have a maximum.

Sign ups will be run through our RHMS website.  Using their CUSD Google accounts, students may sign up for clubs beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 30th.  Please go to this link to initiate the sign up process at that time.  It is under the tab... academics, enrichment, clubs.

We genuinely appreciate the dedication our staff and our community displayed as they  offered to sponsor clubs running through December.  Provided these clubs meet with success, we will explore offering a second and even third round of clubs later in the year.

Parent-Teacher Conferences start next week.  While school ends at 1:05, teachers will be contacting you, sharing a Zoom link to attend a virtual conference.  In order to have an efficient  process for our 7th and 8th grade families and staff, we've created lists where there will be a single point of contact to review similar information  unique to your child's performance and growth points.  Our daily bell schedule still feature six periods and lunch on campus.

COVID testing continues on our site.  While aiming to streamline the process, we are working with Grapefruit to expedite the process and ensure accuracy of results.  We are thankful that RHMS remains fully opened, offering clubs and after school athletics as a result of our community's commitment to safety.

Wearing a properly fitted bike helmet and being aware of surroundings are the best ways to ensure safe arrival to school and back home for our travelers.  Please reinforce this with your children, as we will do so at school later this week during morning announcements.
