Rolling Hills Middle School

Principal's Corner October 9, 2015

We had a wonderful turnout for our Books and Brats library fundraiser. So far, this Book Faire is turning out to be the best ever, surpassing last year’s record-breaking numbers. Thank you to all that participated! Stay tuned for information on our Spring Book Faire.

Coming soon is our fabulous Movie Night, the RHMS version of a drive-in! We’ll be showing the feature film Hotel Transylvania, a wonderful cartoon for all ages. All students are welcome (not just RHMS) as long as an adult (for supervision) accompanies them. Bring your folding chairs, your blankets, and your pillows so you can sit, lay down, stretch out under the stars and enjoy a great movie on our giant screenin the quad (it’s the only time we allow pajamas at school). The movie is free, but food is available for purchase. PTA will be selling pizza, popcorn, candy, drinks- lots of items, with all proceeds going towards sixth grade science camp. Help support our kids and enjoy a family evening of fun in the RHMS quad.

SBAC results were recently mailed! Please be sure to review your child’s test results with them. If you have questions, jot them down so you’ll have them for your child’s conference.

And yes, it’s time for conferences. Conference week is October 19-23. If you would like a conference with your child’s teachers, please be sure to return the necessary forms. And remember: everyday of conference week is a minimum day, with school ending at 1:57. Please, pick up your children after school (and please don’t send them to Safeway for treats).

Enjoy your three day weekend!
