Principal's Corner December 11, 2015
Winter Break is almost here and your children will be home all day. Wondering what to do with them? Read! Even though school is closed, the library is open. Downtown Campbell has a wonderful library always filled with books and adults willing to help your child find that special book that will hold their interest. The more your child reads, the better they do in school. Having access to language is the golden ticket to a great education.
Also important: wear a jacket!!! It’s cold outside! I see many students coming to school without sweatshirts or jackets. It’s okay to be cool in middle school- just not cold!
Finally, remember to pace both yourself and your children. Often we try to do so much we become run down, setting ourselves up for illness. Your children need you healthy and rested for the winter. Please take care of yourself during these cold winter months.
