9-20-16 Homework and Other Happenings
Good afternoon! Our homework tonight is a page with decimal numbers (decimal fractions) that need to be expressed in expanded and unit forms. We did the first together:
199.007 would be
expanded: (1x100) + (9x10) + (9x1) + (7x 1/1000)
unit form: 1 hundred 9 tens 9 ones 7 thousandths
The poster we made in class that can help with this is posted on Google Classroom.
We started PEMDAS today with expressions such as 7x (7squared +1). Please review this tonight.
