Happy Monday,
I told students today about the leave. I think they are okay, as long as I come back. :) I spoke with Mr. Gillie over the weekend, and he wanted me to let you know that the classroom will be open during lunch (after a brief break), AND he will be having Homework Center on Tuesday and Thursday until 4:00 pm or so. I greatly appreciate the fact that Mr. Gillie is willing to do this for us. I expect the best behavior from students at all times, including during lunch and at Homework Center. |

Happy Friday,
So, your children are growing like weeds, and many of them are complaining that they are hungry. Like me, I think many of them eat their sandwich (or main food item) during break and then have very little left over for lunch. My cabinets are always stocked full of Goldfish, pretzels, granola bars, etc., but it’s been difficult keeping up with the demand. :( I’ve asked students to talk to you about packing more food (or, having them pack more food, if they pack their own lunch). |
