Happy Friday,
So, all assignments should have been turned in today. Come to find out there were argumentative essays turned in that were not even complete. Additionally, there are many other assignments that are missing. Many students do not seem to understand that this will be a problem in 7th grade. After having said that, I WILL accept work on Monday, which of course, leaves me very little time to grade it. I am not sure if I am really doing these students a favor, because again, it will not work like this next year. :(
The last day of school is Wednesday, June 14. Monday, 6/12 - Wednesday, 6/14 are all minimum days.
Our class party will be on Tuesday, June 13. If it’s okay with all of you, we’ll do it like we did last time. You can email me and let me know what you would like to bring in. Then, I will keep a running list that we can send back and forth. Since it is a minimum day, lunch will be at 11:57 am. Of course, students can bring things in with them when they come to school in the morning.
Ms. Garcia is doing a fun experiment with the kids on Monday. She needs 8 or 9 inch round cakes unfrosted for Monday. She needs a total of 16.
Students should continue their 30 minutes of reading every day.
