It’s hard to believe that we are nearing the end of another school year.  Ms. Garcia and I are in the process of planning an end-of-the-year party.  More news will be sent out next week.  :)
Announcements:

 

1.  Scholastic Book orders can now be placed online for your convenience.  Our Class Code is H3YRK.  The site is easy to use, but please let me know if you do have any problems with ordering.

 
2.  The Annual Notes & Floats Band Concert is on Wednesday, June 7.  Everyone is welcome to attend!
 
3.  The last day of school is Wednesday, June 14.  Monday, 6/12 - Wednesday, 6/14 are all minimum days.

1.  Goldfish or pretzels
 
Homework for 6/1/17:
 
Language Arts:  Work on Jaguar composition book due TOMORROW (gold group only)
 
Social Studies:  
*Complete Section 2 vocabulary.  Remember to label the paper, number the words, and sketch a picture for each word.
**Rome map due TOMORROW.
Chapter 9 Rome test will be on Friday, June 9th.  We will read chapter 10, but it will not be tested.  In 7th grade, students will start their year in social studies working on Rome.
Math:   No homework
Science:  Study the parts of a microscope for the QUIZ TOMORROW.
 

Reading/Literature:  THE LAST DAY TO TAKE AN AR QUIZ WILL BE MONDAY, JUNE 12.

 

****Green group students need to bring a bag to school tomorrow because they will be cleaning out their lockers. 

 

Please read 30 MINUTES every day at home.  Bring your AR book to class every day.
