Happy Wednesday:
 
Cookie dough order forms are due back on FRIDAY!!  Please make sure that you have double-checked the math.  It will really help us out!  
 
Homework Center will meet again TOMORROW.
 
The CIA (Compassion in Action) will be collecting the following items for the homeless:
 
Water Bottles
Ready-to-eat cans with easy-to-open lids (Ex. Tuna and crackers)
Beef jerky
Trail mix
Instant oatmeal packets
Hot chocolate packets
Mints, cough drops, or gum
Band Aids/Small first aid kits
Items will be collected through the student’s 1st period classroom.  The deadline for items is Wednesday, October 17.  The group will be putting together care packages during lunch on the 18th.  Thank you for whatever help you can provide.
 
Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held October 15 - 19, 2018 (conference week).  Ms. Panus (RHMS librarian) could really use your help!

Important information for both groups:
1.  Cooke dough order forms must be returned on Friday, Oct. 12.  Your child will receive 40% of the profit they’ve earned from selling cookie dough.  Cookie dough will be delivered directly to the school for pick up. Cookie Dough will be delivered to RHMS on November 15 (Thursday).   It must be picked up that day.

he 2018-2019 yearbook is now available for purchase! The cost is $35 for the basic book (but you can personalize it for an extra cost). You can order your book online at jostensyearbooks.com.  When choosing the school, make sure you choose the RHMS in Los Gatos (there is more than one RHMS in California.) 
 
3.  Baskin-Robbins Thursdays - Visit the Baskin-Robbins across the street and tell them that you are from Rolling Hills.  20% of the sales from that day will be donated to the RHMS science camp fund.  ***Thursdays ONLY!!
Homework for 10/10/18: 
 
Reading/Literature:  READ 20 mins. every night including weekends!   
Language Arts: 
*Study grammar worksheet (5 mins.)
*Grammar quiz on Fri., 10/12
Math:  Finish pg. 89 and 90
 
Science:  Cell test is TOMORROW.  Study packets and worksheets.  
Social Studies:  Study the Mesopotamia review that we went over in class today.  Mesopotamia test on Friday, 10/12.
